This hotel is generally good. They have spacious room, friendly staffs, clean. But location wise they are not at main road so when you take a taxi, you have to do a short explanation to the driver how they can go with it. Hotel breakfast has very limited choices. Only thing I can put a thumbs up is the 7 eleven at ground level ;)

This hotel is of very reasonable price and location is excellent. It's only 2 minutes walk away from Zhong Shan MRT Station and in the heart of the city. Room is not too big but good enough for just a short stay considering one would be out of hotel most of the time. Breakfast is reasonable good, considering the price you are paying. They have a washing machine & tumble dryer on the 8/F which may be convenient to leisure travellers to do the laundry especially in the summer. In general, it's very good value and convenient indeed!

The initial appearance in this side street may not be so nice, but actually the rooms are quite big and comfortable. The Japanese toilets ( target audience ?) without any English explanations are always good fun. The breakfast was OK This is an OK place if you are on business and come back here late at night or so after your meetings / dinner - but I would not stay here as a tourist.

This hotel in located just south of Taipei 101, stayed on the 8 floor breakfast located on second floor, the hotel is set on a curved angle we could see 101 perfectly the night market was just 50 feet from the front door bathroom was huge the beds are huge for American standards, since your in Taipei everything is just smaller for it was a nice surprise to fine this in a hotel room. Staff was very friendly and most spoke English. Rates were in the 70-80 U.S. dollar range I could not find a better hotel for that price. Updated everything throughout hotel. In addition it was just 2 minutes walk to MRT. Spent a month in Taipei, this one is a must for the traveler looking for a great hotel at good price.

A Gem in Zhongshan District

I took an airport bus no. 161 from Tao Yuan Station, then took a cab to K Hotel Taipei I. It's only NT85 + NT20 since it's past 11pm. The hotel is located near a police station, next to an alley in Mos Burger. There's a 7-11 next to the hotel. I've been to Taipei several times in the past and find K Hotel Taipei I to be one of the best. It's conveniently located in the heart of Zhongshan district. Nearest MRT is Zhong Shan station. Take exit 2 since that's where the escalator is. Exit 4 might be nearer but then you'll hv to brace the long steep stairs. Walk to the left once you're out of the MRT. Walk passing Sin Kong Mitsukoshi till the corner, cross the big street where the police station is. Turn left. You'll see Mos Burger. Turn right to the alley. K Hotel Taipei I is located on your left, next to 7-11. Our room is very clean and spacious. It has a fast wifi. The wash room is very similar to the one we had in Osaka, Japan. Maybe it was designed this way since Zhong Shan district is where Japanese people stay in Taipei. Morning buffet spread is the ordinary stuff one has in most Taipei Hotel. Front desk staffs are very warm. They attend to our enquiries. Am not sure if they speak good English though since I spoke with them in Mandarin. Worth coming back!
